This is an odd problem:
I'm using a dual monitor setup, with a CRT as Monitor 2. I have that monitor connected to an "active" monitor switch ("active" meaning: it's plugged into a wall wart and has circuitry inside) so I can change between my main computer and a secondary one.
At night I run Norton Ghost 2003 on the main computer (XP), which boots it into PC DOS, does its work, and reboots it into XP. But when it returns, the refresh rate on the CRT is back at 60mhz and flickering, despite the fact that the setting (right click desktop/properties/settings/advanced/monitor2/monitor/) still says 75mhz.
Does anyone know why this would be happening and what I can do to ensure the monitor reboots back to 75 or 85mhz?
Thanks in advance!
