Silly Windows Media Player question

I have Windows Media Player 10. I used to be able to minimize it to my taskbar as the "mini" player. Now it minimizes like normal windows do, it goes to my task bar but has no player functionality. I right clicked on my taskbar and made sure that Windows Media Player is checked under Toolbars. It still does not minimize correctly. Any ideas?

Windows XP SP2?

By 'used to' do you mean with WMP-9? Or did it work previously with 10?

I'm sorry. Yes SP2 and yes it worked previously with WMP 10. I'm not sure what could have happened since I first started using it to make it stop working correctly.

Well I downloaded and reinstalled WMP 10. Now my mini-player works again. I'm not sure what was going on but at least it's working properly now.
