Hey
I just got a bad-anus laptop like two months ago adn one of the "useful" built-in programs that came with the computer was a free trial of AOL. Since I go to Texas A&M and I have free T1 and tamulink wireless connection available, I don't really need AOL so I uninstalled it. Well apparently it's not all gone and it's still in my registry somewher. It still shows up in my Add/Remove programs list and everytime I boot up I get a wierd error message containing only the word "Topic" and it has the AOL symbol in the title bar. This happens when I try to open the individual AOL applications in my start menu as well. Also when I try to uninstall using the uninstaller from my start menu and from the Add/Remove programs list, it starts up and then it says "no version of AOL installed". So this is kind of a pain because AOL is obviously still on my computer. Can anybody help me please?
Thanks in advance!
