ripping files from cd rom

hey guys, iv got an old ps1 game(armored core) - iv got teh actual cd - and i've got a ps1 emulator on my pc, so I'd like to rip the files from the cd onto my computer so that i dont have to pop in the disc every time i want to play the game. obviously I have to rip all the files from it, but can i just "explore" the cd and copy the files that way or do i have to convert the files to some other format? thanks!

use something like alcohol or gamedrive/virtual drive...any of those should ripit and mount it as a virtual cd drive

what emulator you using? i prefer espxe or whatever its called, works good when set just right.
