so i just did some upgrading.and bought an ati radeon x1300 pro...my computer used to have a thermal error but i repleaced the thermal paste. now it seems to stay on fine when browsing the internet and stuff like that but when i try to open fear or battlefield 2 my comp will turn off before i even get to a title page...would this be a graphics card problem or a mother board problem or what?

im leaning twards motherboard... IF it was a heat problem the computer would normally tell you, not just shut off like that. Due to excessive load on the system mabey it triggers something that is faulty, or just shuts off due to load..
