Help Required major network problem

Hi,

When i am tryinng to stream music to my xbox 360 , play abox live and browes the net on my pc I can't do it

I have found this out so far -


1. I have a hub not a router
2.If my pc, internet and 360 is all connect into the hub, i can play live and browse the net at the same time.
3. But 360 can't find a connnection to my PC.
4.If i disconect the internet cable from the hub and turn the power on and off, My 360 wil find the connection and let me listin to music.
5.When i put the internet cable back in, it can't find my PC??

PLease could someone the sort this out for me am lost and its doing my ____ in

You need a router to accomplish this. Without a router, this will always be a problem.

I got a linksys WRK54G router and its still the same problem with the exception it won't connect to the net at all

You need to remove the x-box from the equation and setup the PC as required by your modem and router. Once the PC is on-line, you will need to follow the instructions for setting up the x-box.
