this is just to inform you guys that if you see 'eZmmode.exe' in your startup list in msconfig, then take a look at this (http://www.ahfb2000.com/ezula/ezula.php).

I downloaded and installed a piece of crap from www.smesource.com (http://www.smesource.com) whose advt is displayed in opera. Actually, i downloaded a .exe file, which said it contained a .bmp wallpaper. I ran the file, and the wallpaper(zipped) was placed at some corner of my disk, but during installation, there was an option to install a software called 'toptext' and i went ahead with installing it. But immediately after the installation was complete (ie wallpaper and toptext were installed), i uninstalled 'toptext'.

Later during the day, i stumbled upon an entry called 'eZmmode' in the startup tab of msconfig and after a minor research at this (http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_pages/startup_full.htm) site, i found that it was a theftware.

During installation of toptext, a directory called ezula was created in c:\program files without my consent.

hey mjc, i checked out the link, but it works only for IE 5.5 and not for opera6(without java)and netscape6.

If you clicked the link to go off to the main page of the scumware site, you would notice that they only infect IE....which is another reason to use something else.
