Need a little help. Have a Soyu MB SY-6BA+,, bios 1/19/99. Have a 6 gig HDrive
would like to upgrade to a 20 GIg can that be done without changing the Bios?. The Mb has a Pentium II 350.. Thanks

Most certainly.
Even if your native onboard system BIOS doesn't support 8GB> you can use the Drive Overlay software provided by the drive's vendor to " fool " your system into recognizing the larger drive.
When you install the new drive, use the boot disk provided by the vendor { ie; Maxtor, Western Digital, etc..}, ther will be an oprtion to enable LBA ( basiclly large disk support ).
