Yeah, I wasn't sure which was the original thread until I got home and could click on the original link... I was going to post the link to the new location, but I figured it really didn't merit that much attention... :)

AVG 7.5 free is available now

It's my understanding that v7.1 drops dead on January 15th...

If it goes the way older versions have gone, then essentially come January, there will be no more 'engine' updates for 7 but definition updates will continue, at least for a while.

So, in general, it would be a good idea to do the upgrade...
