FPM or EDO SIMMS upgrade

My motherboard has been identified as an Acer V12LC and has SIMM slots.A specification sheet for the motherboard states: memory 72-pin non-parity Dram type :70ns. Old technology here in the UK I'm afraid!
The question is this-can I upgrade the memory with either FPM or EDO 72-pin SIMMS? I only have 16Mb of RAM fitted but the time has now come where I would like to at least double it!!
The coding on the chips indicates that FPM is fitted, but this may not be the original memory.

According to the information on the site listed, it will only take FPM memory. I didn't know if this was the exact model no. though, so go check it out.
