Me and XP cant see eachother??

How can i wirelessly connect my downstairs Windows XP computer and my 2 Windows Me upstairs computers??? my Compaq already has a PCI card and The eMachines has a wireless USB, how can i connect them??

Start with basic wired setup and move to wireless when that works. See this link Variable posted a while back which explains a lot:
