I am interested in finding out which is the best voice recognition software on the market right now. Since my surgery, it is apparent that I need to find anything that can decrease the amount of time I spend typing and using the mouse. I tried a Dragonware package three or four years ago and it was not bad, but it seemed to take a long time to get the software to recognize my particular style of speech - likely talked to fast. At any
rate, I am sure there are major improvements in the last few years since
I tried that one. My system in the Rec Office is pretty low end - P120
with 64 mb RAM and only a 1.2 or 1.8GB hard drive, so have to consider
the system requirements. I would like a system upgrade but it isn't in
the budget for this year.
