Hi all.
Have just run Memtest86 v3.2 for first time (perhaps i should have run it when i bought the memory 3 months ago).
I had 87 errors. Nearly all (95% of them) were against failing addresses:
0005ffd5318 and 0005ffee718
I know that no memory is perfect but is this result acceptable or should I RMA the memory?
Thanks

RMA it. Upon any errors I would RMA it, let alone 87. ;)
Did you run it one stick at a time? If you didn't, do so. It may be only one stick is bad. Unless of course you bought a dual channel kit, then you will most likely have to send them both back regardless.

Aw... not what I wanted to hear. Its a dual channel kit of corsair TwinX XMS PC6400 Xpert - which is going to be really bad for me - RAM prices have shot up here in the uk by around 25% - 35% and NOWHERE has Corsair XPert RAM in stock - I think I may have had the very last sticks.
But on the brighter side :p get myself some dominator 3-4-3-9:p
Thanks J

If you bought the RAM 3 months ago, the vendor you bought them from is longer in the picture (most likely). You can deal with Corsair directly on this and get the RAM replaced for free (minus minor shipping charges).

saph's right on...many vendors will deal with you directly even though purchased through retailers or e-tailers...
