Motherboard and DVD Writer

Hi Gang,

Quick question.

I got a Asus P5B Deluxe mobo and want to run two DVD writers on this. The only problem is that this model of Asus only has one IDE channel.

I know that there are some issues surrounding running two DVD writers on the same IDE Channel, but with this being a relatively new board, would it be safe to run?

If not, it looks like I might have to find another board.

You can run 2 dvd-rw drivers with no problem.
Just make sure you have them set and connected correctly to the data cable. ( master slave)

Put the main writer on the master
