GeForce 2 GTS and AGP 2.0

I have a SOYO motherboard with a 1.0 AGP slot. The GeForce 2 that I bought requires 2.0. Is there an easy fix for this? Do I have to by a new board?

Unless it's an oddball manufacture, the G2 you bought will be backwards compatible with the 1.0 specification.
