Purely discussion and speculation thread, but...

In terms of the new GPUs...Nvidia's G80 and ATI's upcoming R600...since the GPU cores are much larger than previous cores were, it is not possible for watercool it yourself?

After all, it doesn't look like you can watercool the GeForce 8800 GTX with, let's say, an Asetek Watercooling Kit due to the fact that the GPU core is much larger, in addition to the fact that the RAM also needs to be cooled.

Since the upcoming ATI R600 is also rumoured to have a rather large sized GPU core as well...that doesn't bode well with my feelings about single-slot cooling...

Think manufacturers will make new watercooling kits that will allow users to watercool the R600/G80 themselves, instead of having to spend $800 on a BFG GeForce 8800GTX Watercooled Edition? I have heard nothing in the news about it...
