Can any guys assist me on this? All along, i have made my home page www.yahoo.com.sg and it had been running fine until recently.

Upon logging in my Internet Explorer 6, i am just unable to go into my homepage.
Upon deleting my cookies under Tools/Internet Options, i am able to go back into my homepage Yahoo Singapore.
However upon signing in, the same problem arises again.

Is it that my registry corrupted or so? Have anyone faces the same problem before? Kindly guide me to a solution and any help would be highly appreciated. Cheers.

Does the progress note at the bottom of the page say "checking proxy connections"?

Does the progress note at the bottom of the page say "checking proxy connections"?

Thanks for the responds. It just keep toggling on the address bar with 2 web address "http://sg.yahoo.com/?rs=1" and "http://sg.yahoo.com/?r633=11634292.." (the last 2 digits number keeps running up eg. 56,57,58,59,60...) and the screen remain blank and later it just state cannot find server, when i enter other web page, no problem at all.

The funny thing is that upon clearing all the cookies, i am able to go to yahoo singapore but upon signing in, the problem came back. I just couldn't go to that particular site.

All other site got no problem at all. I tried on my laptop and upon doing the same thing, i manage to go to that website without any problem.

Is clearing cookies and caches the same thing? otherwise please advise how to do it. I even tried cleaning the registry but with backup definately just in case when anything went wrong, i can go back to the old registry.

Please help as i had already run out of ideas and doing reinstallation of windows xp pro will be my last resort.
