I am currently running a ga-6bxe board with a 440bx agpset with a 366 processor, i would like to upgrade to a P3 cpu, I have been told that i may be able to run a 1gb cpu, is this possible ? Any assistance would be helpfull

sorry about the top post I was doing something else and got confused.

when that board came out in 99 there was a lot of hupla over it, it is a fine board, that particular board I do not know about jumping up I think there were a couple of different models of that one an E and a C ??? older versions of that board go to 600 later versions up to 650MHz PIII.. you might want to check out www.giga-byte.com (http://www.giga-byte.com) for manuals and any Bios updates for that particular board.There are a couple of people here I've seen that have gigabyte boards maybe they have more insite on them.
