I have 2 printers currently attached to my main computer. A HP LaserJet 4P (don't laugh, it still works fine) and an Epson Photo RX500. I would like to make these printers available to the rest of the household computers but without sharing them from the main computer. This computer isn't always on and I don't want to have to turn it on just to print from another computer....

So is there a way to make these computers available directly from the network? The HP does not have an ethernet port but the Epson does. I have a wireless network and was hoping I could set up another wireless router across the room, connect the printers to it somehow and then print from any computer at anytime.

Is this doable? If not, any suggestions would be apprciated .....

Made me look at my wife's RX500 and found hers is USB and not Ethernet.

Basically a print server is going to be the only option if you don't want to share through a computer.
