For Christmas, my Mom really wants a Mp3 player. She wants to use it to exercise so something she can where is a key. No fancy name brands or hig tech features needed here. It doesn't even have to have a display screen, but I want it to be able to add or change memory cards. I tried on Black Friday to get her The Ilo 1gig expandable player for $50, but they were sold out. My budget iss $65 or less. :( Any sugestions?

Thanks,
A Frustrated Daughter

I've found the RCA Lyra products to be a good cheap MP3 player. Not the best by any means, but hard to complain about at these prices (http://www.amazon.com/RCA-Lyra-RD1028-Personal-Player/dp/B0002ZPDV4/sr=1-2/qid=1164445517/ref=sr_1_2/105-6416825-4070058?ie=UTF8&s=electronics)!

Just be warned: The Lyra's are old by today's standards. No mp4/iTunes playback. Only mp3 and WMA.

If you are in the USA, check the ads in the Sunday paper... If you are in a city, the various computer and electronics stores are offering a number of MP3 players on sales right now... I saw a 1gig option for about $40 if I remember...
