Hey, everyone.

This is my first time posting here, but I thought I'd drop by since I check the site out occasionally anyway. I'm also planning on doing some PC shopping for the holidays :D

Anyway I thought this was as good a place as any to as ask a PC question, since I'm mostly a console gamer. What do you think is the best PC to buy right now if I'm not planning on building my own? Or is it better just to build my own, I really have no clue.

I'm looking for kind of a warhorse that can handle anything, especially games.

Alienware was kinda the first thing that popped into my head. Idk?

As an aside, I'm not sure if any of you checked this out either, but I found a pretty nice PC giveaway when I was researching my Christmas wish, it's from LINK REMOVED

You just have to use the PlayLinc game messaging service and you get 50 chances to win an Alienware from 11/10-12/29. So they're pretty much giving away 1 really expensive PC rig a day for 50 days, and it's all free so I thought it was a cool thing to try, especially since you usually don't get 50 chances to win anything. If you want to take a look: LINK REMOVED

So any ideas on the PC? It doesn't have to be pretty, I just want something that can handle heavy duty games. I want something that isn't too incredibly expensive either, at least reasonable.

You might not get too many replies to your question on this forum. Try pcgamer.com. You should get a lot of info there.

This was just a reason to post Playlinc contest links, and that is not OK here.
