I have a PC100 BXcel motherboard (Ali Aladdin Pro II M726MRT) which has a slot1 with FSB of 100Mhz and socket 7 with 66Mhz bus speed.
At the moment I have a celeron 433 in the socket 7.
The new celerons (800Mhz and over)have FSB of 100Mhz. Will they work on my motherboard?
Thanks for any help

Maybe, and it would probably depend on whether or not the is a BIOS update for the board that would allow the processor to be recognised and whether or not the slocket adapter can get you to the correct voltages required for them (it would need to be able to handle the "flip-chip" package). Slot1 boards are nearing the end of their ability to be upgraded, fewer and fewer chips are being made that will natively work in them adn the manufacturers are not rushing out BIOS updates either.....
