I'm in the market for a new desktop. Because I cant get high speed, I'm still on dial up. I probably already know the answer is no its all in your connection but, is there any thing like a faster processor or anything that would help speed up dial up?

You're right...it is your connection. When you are talking about multi megabyte pages, no matter how fast your computer is, it is going to be limited by how quickly it receives data...and on dial up, it isn't all that fast.

Nope. Dialup can only go so fast. A faster processor will not a make a difference unless you are currently running something like an Intel 486. :eek: :p

Dialup can go 56kbps, that's it. :(
