Hi, Can anyone tell me how to create a password on my network? I have a couple computers using a wireless router but I cant find an option to set up a password to stop neighbours using my connection. I'm using a Belkin F5D7230-4, Version 2002 UK.
Thanks.

First you want to change the default password of the router so the neighbor cannot change settings you put in place.
Next, you want to turn on encryption for your router with WPA passphrase preferred, then put the matching passphrase in your PCs to connect to it. Without the matching encryption key the neighbors can see your router but not connect to it.
Older routers only had WEP encryption, which is very little protection, WPA is stronger.
