trying to build cheap, reliable, intermediate computer for around $800

mobo: DFI Lan Party UT n F4-D $85
video card: ASUA EN7600GS SILENT/HTD/512M $136
power: Scythe Kamariki-2 KMRK-450A-2 $75
cpu: AMD Athlon 64 4000+ $130
memory: Patriot 1GB 184-pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 $122
hd: Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3160812A 160GB 7200 RPM $57
cd rom: Samsung Model SH-S182D $31

have thought about going to 2GB of ram but dont think that i really need it and i can always add later

have thought about going to 2GB of ram but dont think that i really need it and i can always add later

with case, fans, heat sinks, ect should run about 750-800

you need a better power supply. Check out the recommended PSU list for for that motherboard here (http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10854).
