......"windows cannot find taskmgr.exe" ..... wad?

Not too sure wad exactly happened but i reckon i got this trojan/worm from my sch's computers.

Upon startup, i'd get this dialog box saying windows cannot find taskmgr.exe.
I've scanned my system and have detected several viruses, which zone alarm and avg both claimed to have treated them.

Some friends told me it's some kinda trigger virus or something.. I dont know.
Is my computer in danger? is the virus destructive? I've tried various scans... yet i still cant get rid of it...

anyone with the possible solution pls do let me know?

Yes and your data is also in danger of being deleted


Trigger
A trigger virus is activated when a particular event occurs. An event can be identified by markers such as a date or a sequence of keystrokes. When a trigger event occurs, it activates the virus which then infects the computer. Anti-virus programs cannot detect a trigger virus until that event occurs. The Chernobyl (CIH) virus activated on April 26, 1999, the 13th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, is an example of a trigger virus.

You need to find the trigger
Starting in safe mode and do a scan from there
Or hook the drive up to a clean safe system and scan it
