Hi.
I have some confusion concerning the std of cabling.
As we know when using 568B pin 1 of the RJ45 connector has the white orange color then orange......and when using 568A pin1 of the RJ45 has white and so on... I thought why we should use only one std when connecting to a switch, as its the pin which carries the signal. for example when networking two PCs, where pc 1 has 568A and pc2 has 568B std are connected to a switch. Would there be any type of interference? as the signal that pin1 of the jack in pc1 carries would be the same as the signal that pin1 of the jack in pc2 carries.
any comment please
