Hi.
I have some confusion concerning the std of cabling.
As we know when using 568B pin 1 of the RJ45 connector has the white orange color then orange......and when using 568A pin1 of the RJ45 has white and so on... I thought why we should use only one std when connecting to a switch, as its the pin which carries the signal. for example when networking two PCs, where pc 1 has 568A and pc2 has 568B std are connected to a switch. Would there be any type of interference? as the signal that pin1 of the jack in pc1 carries would be the same as the signal that pin1 of the jack in pc2 carries.

any comment please

It's all about the cable. As long as you use the same standard on both ends of the cable it doesn't matter if other machines are connected to the switch via a cable wired with the other standard or not.

as the signal that pin1 of the jack in pc1 carries would be the same as the signal that pin1 of the jack in pc2 carries.

As long as the cable is the same standard on both ends the data ends up on the pin it needs to be on.

Exactly. You don't even need to follow any standard to make a working cable as long as you wire both ends the same. The whole reason for standards is so if you do some wiring, and then I come along a year or two later I can work on it and know what is what. If everyone just did the color patterns they liked it would be very difficult to know how to properly add/move/change cabling.
