:confused: I have launched a new website which is ecommerce based, how do I significantly increase visits, and do companies like: http://www.evotraffic.co.uk actually work.

Visits to your site do not equal sales. I would be very cautious when spending money for simply hits to your site. It is simple to create bots that crawl web sites. In order to increase web traffic you should spend money on advertising and creating links with other sites that are related in some way to yours. Look at your web stats logs for where your site hits are coming from. Focus spending on beefing up advertising from those sites.
