Hi,
Does anyone have any advise on what is a good "Harddrive". I'm running WindowsXP and I'm going to start some video editing.

Faster is usually better. If money is no object, you could go with some 15000rpm scsi drives. For more down-to-earth prices, there are good deals on big (100gb+) and fast (7200rpm) maxtor and western digital drives.

Western digital is generally less expensive and I have had no problems with their drives.

For video editing, the burst speed of the drive is not going to be as important as in other applications. Since it takes longer, you'll be doing sustained data access, so I wouldn't run out an buy an ata133 controller if you're alreday running ata66 or better.

I have 2 Western Digital WD1000Jb-SE 7200RPM 100GB UDMA 100 hard drives W/8MB buffer and haven't had any problem from them. Also have a WD400BB and a WD150BB and I like them all. In my opinion Western Digital gives me a very good drive for the least amount of money
