I am upgrading my graphics card from a 6600GT which gets power through the PCI expressx16 slot, but my new 7950GT requires 2 extra harddrive 4-pin power connectors that plugs into a 6 pin adapter that comes with the card. I have a 420W power supply and the card recommends a 350W so I BELEIVE i'm safe but not 100% sure. Anyhow I don't have an extra 2 harddrive 4-pin connectors, but I do have a splitter that splits one into 2. A) will it hurt the card to try it? or B)Would it effect the amp or voltage draw to the card by splitting one 4-pin into 2?

No cause it is all coming off the same rail.
