or

#!@$*%.....just format the damn C:
I think I read somewhere that the GeForce4 MX 460 isn't that much better than the GeForce2 Ti. Anyway, what about a GeForce3 Ti? It would be better than the 2, and cheaper than the 4.

I have used the GF2 Ti card and it's a very decent card. The GF4 MX versions do not fully support DX8.1, nor do they have vertex ... or pixel shading, but then, neither does the GF2 Ti card.
For what you would spend for the GF4 MX card, you could find a GF3 Ti 200 or maybe even a GF3 Ti 500 that you could overclock with proper cooling and enjoy the vertex and pixel shading, etc.
If you absolutely have to choose from just the two cards your present here, I would say go for the GF4 MX 460, just to have some of the newer technology, albeit, not all of it. The GF4 has accuview antialiasing and 2nd generation transform and lighting, something that the GF2 series does not have.
