Hi All
Now that I have bought myself a digital camera I am looking for a good program to use for video confrencing. (talking too, and seeing friends) On pricipal I would prefer not to use net meeting (I will do so grudgingly if I have to). M$ is building that much tracker and phone-home into there software nowadays I would prefer to use something else. Can someone suggest a good (easy or use) free software that will allow me to interact with others who are using net meeting or what-ever program they have

Run a search on Google and I get...

Video Conferencing (http://www3.ncsu.edu/dox/video/products.html)

CDC32 (http://www.dwyco.com/) looks decent of you can put up with the ads...it's Adware...

Video Conferencing (http://myhome.hananet.net/~soonjp/vidconf.html)

Video Conferencing (http://www3.ncsu.edu/dox/video/)

And there's Plenty More (http://www.google.com/search?q=video+conferencing&hl=en&lr=&start=10&sa=N) where that came from.

Unfortunately my old favorite, Mplayer, is now long gone, it was web based plus a small software installation, worked really well, and was very popular at one time.

I personally love eyeball.... no ads, no email (opt out by default), and very small. Also, the community is still small so there are rarely connection problems.

Duh.... add the address...
