Hard drive Troubles

On my pc i have a few hard drives and I was helping a mate set his pc by installing windows on my pc and all my HD were unplugged and i installed windows 4 him it ws ok then i put my machine back together and now my hard disc with my main stuff on says when i click on it it need to be formatted and there is over a 100 gigs of sdtuff on it is there any way i can get it back many thanks :confused: please relpy to ntodd853[AT]aol.com thanks

i wanted to put a copy of xp pro on a machine and i put the cd in drive and set bios to boot from cd/dvd and it goes right through to boot from cd/dvd press any key so i do sand nothing happens it freezes can anyone help thanks
