I picked up a used computer that was running fine when I got it.
The problem I'm having now is that I'm not getting a desktop with the normal boot.
The video card is good, the bios see's all the hardware and even scanned the hardrive for consistency and gave it the ok. Then Windows starts to load and I'll get a no signal message on my monitor.
But if I interupt the setup and then reboot in safemode, no problem.
What should I be looking to correct?
Gateway ATXSTF Select 1100
AMD 1.1ghz
running upgraded XP home
PNY GForce5200 128mb video card
192mb ram
