If I am going to burn a 4.7G file to DVD and I have 98SE, is that a problem?
I heard there is some file size limit for 98SE.
If I need Win2K, can I upgrade from 98SE or do I need the full version of Win2K?
Using Pinnacle Systems DV500Plus.
Thanks, Issachar

There is indeed a file size limit for the Win9x kernel, tho I cannot think of it offhand, but I think it's less than 4.7GB (I could be wrong on that). In which case you may want to think about going with Win2K, or even a dual-boot of Win2K & Win98SE.
And yes, you'll need the full version of Win2K because the two Windows kernels don't have much in common. Although if you just want to burn this one file to DVD and you have a friend with Win2K, just install the DV500 card into his/her machine instead.
