Gentlemen,

Just built a new computer and all has gone fairly well considering it was my first!!:D Now the problem I have discovered is that the computer will start itself back up after I have shut it down. Not sure as to the time lag but somewhere in the two to four hour range. I thought that maybe one of the kids was starting it back up and leaving it on but after last night I know that is not true.

Looking for some suggestion as to where I might look for a problem. Running XP Home for an operating system and I'm sure it is hidden in there somewhere.

Thanks

In your BIOS, you will need to look through it.

I found it!! One of the network adapters had an option to start the computer from the LAN, not only wake but also start.
Checked all of the BIOS and all was good in there but, will know for sure after tonight.

Again, thanks guys
