Ok Ok I have posted something like this before but I have changed my setup a bit. I chaged the motherboard, gpu, cd/dvd, Mouse, and keyboard. I have been wondering if these are the best buys I can have. I want to keep the price in the same range $1400 WITHOUT REBATES. I also want to know if I could do better and averything is worth it. I am also not getting a 8800 because I need vivo and will get something better in a year or two. I think I have a great setup. I was hoping to make in just about right now but I need $400 more dollars. Just 6 more weeks and I can have it. Thank you all for your help.

Also I already have a case, and will by other addons afterwards. Like h/f, fans, this vent thing, and fan controler. Moniters will come soon after these as well.

Dump that power supply and get one from a known good manufacturer such as Antec, Seasonic, or ThermalTake. Other than that, it looks good.

Screw brand names. It has a exelent rating and great price. I was going to get a Brand name psu but found this thing. I will take my chances with this thing.

Hmmm....found a number of good reviews, mostly from British sources (considering that it is a British PSU, that makes sense0

But I did find this one...

"The Hiper flew through the 50 and 75 per cent load tests, producing a stable voltage on each of its primary rails. However, at 100 per cent load, it started to make a bizarre noise, best likened to the sound of frogs croaking in unison. At full load, the Hiper is also inefficient, averaging just 71 per cent. This means it had to draw 807W from the mains to produce 572W. After just three minutes of listening to this amphibian jungle mix, the primary heatsink reached 72ûC and the Hiper switched itself off. So much for being able to produce 580W continuously." (http://www.custompc.co.uk/custompc/labs/79289/hiper-hpu4k580.html)

Looks like it may fall in the mid-grade category (possibly high mid-grade).

Plus I won't need to use it to the max. I am sticking with it unless someone can get me a better deal.
