I have a HP zv5000 series notebook running Windows XP SP2 with three USB ports: one on the right hand side two on the other. The right hand side port functions properly. The two on the left hand side do not detect hardware however, if I plug in a USB device to these ports through a USB hub, it detects the hardware and works properly.
The devicce manager does not detect any problems, i have reinstalled the drivers and performed all the other USB troubleshooting tasks suggested by HP.
Would appreciate some assistance. Thanks
