Hello All,

I am getting ready to build a new system. I am going to put in 2 250GB HDD SATA, but I am using Windows XP, with no service packs, for the install and I am afraid that Windows will not recognize any over 137GB (or whatever that magic number is).

Any ideas on what I could do?
Thanks,
Jason

As long as you XP disk is SP1 or higher it will be fine. If you are using an old disk with no service packs, then you need to make slipstreamed XP/SP2 disk. Actually it's a good idea to slipstream SP2 even if your disk has SP1.

You would need to download SP2 and use something like Autostreamer (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/Autostreamer.shtml) to make the disk image for you. Then burn the ISO image to CD, and install XP from there.
