I'm sorry if someone has asked this before, I didn't get any results when I searched, but anyway. I have a Netgear router with one pc connected by Ethernet cable and another desktop connected with a wireless card. I'm trying to set up file sharing between the two computers but I'm having no luck. Both are on the same workgroup and both can connect to the internet through the router. On the wired desktop I can see the wireless desktop when I click View Workgroup Computers, but I cannot access the files. File sharing is turned on, on both of the computers. The wireless pc cannot see the wired pc. I've tried using the ping command to ping the wireless pc from the wired one but no luck. When I used the ping command in the router's settings it see's it fine. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
