Pc starts to boot but stops near the end of the second black screen informing me that NTLDR is missing. The boot then stops and I am told to ctrl, alt, del to restart, what is NTLDR and what is the solution. All this started after an attempt to fit a slave hdd, which has now been removed. any help would be great.
regards.

... All this started after an attempt to fit a slave hdd ...
Most likely you just need to set the correct boot order in BIOS.
When you add/remove a drive the BIOS boot order will change.
You get the message because BIOS has started to boot the wrong HDD.
