it was started when after i formating my computer.it was ok after all the driver i was install.the problem is,when the pc restarting, the screen windows xp with indicator under the logo is too long to loading, boring for waiting,i reset my pc and then the screen show about the failure of loading/booting,so i set to the safe, mode and then then pc booting in safe mode without any problem. So i think my pc is ok and restarting the pc.After POST i had the same problem again, the window is loading to long and the pc suddenly restarting itself.because of that i insert the xp cd and in the installation i was repair my window and then after it all finish the pc can boot into the window,so the problem is gone. But,after i shutdown the pc and turn on th pc again, the same problem happen again. Why?Somebody can tell me what happen to my pc? My pc specification GA-K8N-SLI,thermaltake 460w psu, nvidia 7600gs,80 and 120 GB maxtor hardisk.

Is this a new computer that you built, or is it a Dell, HP, etc.?

Since you have already reformatted, I would suggest that you backup any data you need and reload XP again. First, however, I would suggest that you run the harddrive manufacturer's diagnostics. These can be downloaded from the harddrive manufacturer's website.

Was the computer behaving funny when you decided to reformat and reload XP?
