Hi, can any one help me.
My friend who lives a neer me runs an internet cafe.
we have been trying to connect my computer to the network - mainly for internet surfing etc.. He tells me there is no key on the network, as he has it for open use.
I am using a corega internal card with an antenna.
I have full signal in my house, and the small icon comes up in the bottom left saying - local area connection 11mbs.
The connections panel, and the corega software tells me i am sending and receving packets, but i cannot get onto the internet.
No internet explerer, no messenger,
The connection shows up as default - and there is no encryption.
we have tryed restarting the router and this doesnt help.
if anyone could help we would be extreamly greatfull. this has been bugginh me for some time now.
