Is this a good video card worth to buy? PNY GeForce4 MX420 64MB AGP
I like to play games and now I have a Matrox G450 dualhead 32Mb. Would I get a decent improvement?
thanks

Well that kinda depends on what you want to spend and/or how much performance you want. Point blank, yeah that card will improve your game performance, perhaps by quite a bit. But it's basically an el cheapo card; I've heard that PNY cards aren't much to talk about.
Here's your biggest problem, tho. The MX420 version has 166MHz of RAM, while the next step up, the MX440, has 200MHz of DDR RAM (which means 400MHz RAM). That's more than twice as much memory bandwidth, which is really what you'll want for games. So if you have the extra money to move up to the MX440, you'll get about 50% more performance over the MX420 in many cases, and I think the price difference is minimal.
Of course, when we're talking 'minimal' this is relative to a gamer's budget http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif. The MX420 may not be as good as the MX440 in terms of the price/performance ratio, but it's still better than the 64MB GeForce2 MX400. As always, it really comes down to what games you want to play and how much cash you have for the upgrade.
For brand names that are cheap, I believe you can do better than PNY. This isn't my personal experience but the online grapevine favors companies like Gainward/CardExpert, EVGA, and even MSI has some pretty good prices.

Ok, i'm gonna smack you around a little bit here, http://www.colute.net/cwm/contrib/ruinkai/spanka.gif saphalline-i'm currently running a G3 Ti200 & 500 PNY card-both have survived the OCing and more than general use of any other brand i've ever had ( including Hercules/Gainward-which are known for their excellant use of premium parts ).
PNY ( and Verto ) were the actual main board vendors for other bigger name cvompanies for years; finally they have released these same boards under their namesake-and i've yet to come across any bad PNY cards-they actually rate higher than any other manufacturer when it comes to stability and performance.

The PNY cards do look very good, but what about cards from Abit? (ABIT GEFORCE3 64MB TI-200 4XAGP W/ TV & DVI #TI200DVI (http://direct.mwave.com/mwave/doc2/A16170.html) ) If these cards are worth buying I wonder if I would get and performance boost since Abit made my mobo.... =/

The first time I installed Windows it took only one try. When I tried re-installing Windows at a later date it took 30+ tries before I got it right... go figure. =P
