What's your favorite place to buy computer components online? I remember hearing one that would hook up and test the motherboard, CPU, and memory(?) before they send it to you. Which vendor was this?

Multiwave Direct ( http://direct.mwave.com ) might be the place you were thinking about.

If you choose one of their MB/Processor bundles, they will assemble and test the MB + Processor + Memory + some other small stuff (all into the case, of course...) for $9.

I have never tried the assembly/test option before, but I have bought hardware from them on several occasions, and have never had any problems.
