Buying a new computer..question!!

Hi....anyone out there could give me a piece of advice on buying a AMD Athlon or a Pentium processor??And if i go for AMD Athlon which motherboard
should i buy??

2nd quest..about grahpics card then i should go for Ati Radeon ****??or GeForce4 for a better performance..??

I'm new to computer and i don't know where can i get information bout
comparing hardware...

I would ay go with the athlon. And go with the geforce 4ti 4600. I have had no problems with my geforce 4 . and for ur motherboard what are u going for a dual or single processor.
