So heres the situation, We have a wireless router thats thats connected through my sisters computer and i get connection from my room, thing is, she somehow got it to where i cant recieve connection on my computer even though the connection thing shows up in the linksys box and everything and it just wont connect... She says she doesnt know why it aint working, but I call bullS*** because shes always complaining about how she needs all the broadband so her and her boyfriend can play World of Warcraft 24/7, nto to mention they both say my wireless card is crap which it isnt cause liek it was workin before she turned it off.

so is there anyway i can get connection to my room without her help????

also i cant log on to her computer cause its passworded

First things, first...

Who is actually paying the bill for this connection?

Because if she is paying the bill, then she has the right to refuse anyone access. If she isn't then straighten that out with who ever is paying the bill, first.

shes not, my mother is but the router is in her room and ive already talked to my mom and shes tried talkign to my sister, but my sister gives bull lies about how it doesnt work, but i know it does because it was workin earlier, she jsut wants it all to herself, and nobody is doing anything to make this situation better...so any help would be great.

Well, the first thing to do is to make sure you are actually connecting to the router...does the wireless connection manager show that you have good signal strength with no drop outs? Does it give any error messages?

On the command line type in ipconfig /all. Does it show an IP address? A DNS server?

Most of what can be done will need to be done on the router or her machine, so without access to them, you won't really be able to do much other than check...

About the best thing that I can suggest...and what I do, with my kids, is I control access...I have the main connection under my (parental) control.
