I am on a network at school and was wondering if there was any way to talk to another user that is logged on. We have minimal privledges, so if there is anything that I can do, let me know. Thanks!

Basically, with limited privileges, if there isn't already some way of doing it, then no, there isn't much that can be done.

You could always ask the admins if there is and if not, why. I suspect that there are specific reasons why there aren't any local chat options available...
