Here is the deal...

I've got a wireless set up that uses an Actiontect Modem for my DSL, a Netgear router for the Wireless Signal, and a Netgear wireless Adapter for my PC. I've got my PC to connect with the internet just fine, no problem... The problem is with my Laptop, it finds the signal, but when i type in the WEP key, and hit connect... NOTHING! I've been trying to figure it out for a few weeks now and can't get anywhere! I've connected my laptop with numerious routers in the past with no problem!

Please let me know if you can help with anything!

Thanks in advance/

Have you tried to connect the laptop to a wired port on the router?

Does it connect?

If you try connecting with WEP disabled does it connect? You may want to power down your desktop when you have WEP disabled--and make sure you have the key correct, so you won't have to change it when you re-enable it.

How are you entering the key? Typing it in? If so, Caps Lock off (Yeah, pretty lame, but it sometimes happens...)?

Nope... Still nothing...

I tried disabling the WEP key and turning off the PC, nothing...
I tried using ethernet cable to connect directly to the router, nothing...
I check the WEP key, and it was type in correctly...

Everytime i try to connect the laptop, it says down in the corner above my wireless icon "wireless connection not avaliable"

Then about 2 Seconds later, it says (in the same spot) "Wireless connect avaliable, click to connect"

And around in circles I go...

Please help!
