My PC was working fine until yesterday. Now, when I boot up, there is no video. I replaced with another monitor, and opened the machine, reset the graphics card, but still nothing.

I hear a continous clicking sound that seems to be coming from the front of the machine. There is nothing there except the HD and DVD of which I disconnected, but still hear the sound.

Anyone have any idea what might be happening?

Thanks

Given the lack of system info, my wild guess is either the hard drive is fubar or the power supply is failing. There are diagnostic programs you can download to test the harddrive. Most HDD manufacturers have them on the internet.
When you turn the system on do the fans spin and leds light?? If you give us some more info about the sytem and it's components it will help us help you.

Thanks for responding, and yes, the fan spins and the LEDs light. The fan on the video card is also spinning.

Do you think it may still be the PS and it is just not giving enough juice?

Begin tapping the Delete key immediately after hitting the power button and see if you can get into the BIOS/setup...

Let us know if this is possible...

The only 2 clicking sources I'm aware of are hard drive and Floppy drive. Be doubly sure both, if applicable, have data AND power cables disconnected prior to trying to boot to a BIOS screen.

I previously did disconnet the HD. That's what I initially thought too and I don't have a floppy, so I'm thinking it might be the power supply. I'm gonna try to find another power supply and test it. I'll let you know.

Thanks
